Unpack CE Retreats ("Unpack CE," "we," "us") runs unpackce.com and hosts in-person continuing education retreats for mental health professionals. This page explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What We Collect
Information you give us:
- Your name and email when you request our brochure or sign up for updates.
- Booking details when you reserve a retreat seat: name, email, room selection, and payment.
The site does not collect license details. CE certificates and licensure information are handled by Find Empathy (see below).
Information collected automatically:
Usage data through cookies and similar technologies: pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location. More in the cookies section below.
Payments
Stripe processes all payments. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and is never stored on our servers. Stripe's practices are described at stripe.com/privacy.
CE Credit and Your License Information
Continuing education credit for our retreats is provided by Find Empathy, the CE provider of record. Your CE certificate and any licensure details you provide for it are collected and kept by Find Empathy on the Find Empathy site, under Find Empathy's own privacy practices. Unpack CE does not store your license information.
We send the brochure and occasional updates through Mailchimp. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops the emails without affecting anything else. We do not sell or rent our list.
Analytics and Advertising
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and the Meta Pixel to measure our ads and reach people on Facebook and Instagram who may be interested in our retreats. We may also share limited information, such as a hashed version of your email, with Meta to improve how our ads are delivered. None of this identifies you to other advertisers.
You can opt out of ad personalization through Meta's ad preferences (facebook.com/adpreferences), Google's ad settings (adssettings.google.com), or your browser's cookie controls.
Cookies
The analytics and advertising tools above set cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site works without them.
Who We Share Information With
Only the service providers named above: Stripe for payments, Mailchimp for email, Google for analytics, Meta for advertising, Vercel for hosting, and Find Empathy for CE enrollment. We do not sell personal information. We would disclose information if the law required it.
How Long We Keep It
Booking and CE records are kept as long as tax and CE record-keeping rules require. Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Your Choices
Email us at info@unpackce.com to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
Our retreats are for licensed professionals. The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
